Below are resources designed to assist with the effects of the tragedy that has faced adults and children in the Gem County area. These contacts, articles, and links are designed to provide assistance in a difficult time. The counseling service and hotline are for anyone who needs to speak with someone that is completely confidential and free of charge. For more information please feel free to contact the Emmett School District Office at 365-6301.

The Jason Foundation-Suicide Prevention Resources for Parents:

This program helps parents recognize serious signs and behavior changes in their children.  The program provides practical tools and resources to help parents identify possible "signs of concern" in their son or daughter.

Free and confidential counseling and support for adults and children:

The 2-1-1 Idaho CareLine is a free, confidential information and referral agency. Dial 2-1-1 or 1-800-926-2588 Monday to Friday, 8-6 p.m. MST for additional community resources.  After hours, dial 1-800-424-0297 (24 hour line crisis line).
